Production of manuals that are concise, consistent and provide information to maintain Defence buildings, Base infrastructure systems and associated equipment.
We have found that the most common reasons for OMM rejections include minor inconsistencies that should be picked up prior to submission – project name and number, correct building number(s), EBI’s and ECID’s, etc. Errors with metadata are also extremely common.
Some confusion also exists as to what is required for a compliant OMM document which can actually reduce work for contractors. We understand DEQMS requirements for information, what needs to be included and the way it is presented.
